 Bass Enclosure Design Service
We offer a low cost professional bass box design service. Tell us your subwoofer model and we will provide the optimum enclosure size, port dimensions (where applicable), estimated in-car frequency response (in typical saloon car), estimated cone movement with 150W (or your preferred power figure) and a complete set of drawings to allow you (or your installer) to construct the box. These can be posted to you and/or emailed as a PDF file.
 Our standard box shape has a sloping face one side and vertical on the other side - in most cases you can choose to have the subwoofer mounted on the sloping or vertical face. If mounted on the vertical face, the sloping side can tuck close up to the angle of the rear seat. The angled panel also reduces the number of parallel sides, helping to minimise standing waves. You can opt for a rectangular box (easier to build) if you prefer.
Tell us the maximum width, depth and height you'd like to allocate to the box - if it's not enough to fit the speaker/port-tube or to give good performance, we'll tell you and allow you to re-think before we calculate the final design.
