Wallis Vehicle Electronics (Mobile service in Suffolk)

Wallis Vehicle Electronics was born in 1972 as Dave Wallis Car Radio, when only the most expensive cars had any form of radio as standard. We fitted our first 'car phone' in 1976. It wasn't until the late 80s that the cellular car phone we know today was launched and we were the first company in Ipswich to take on a dealership. Dave Wallis Car Audio became known as the foremost specialist in the Suffolk area for supplying and installing car hi-fi systems, car security and communication. David's son, Simon, started in the company in 1997 and became very proficient as an installer, salesman and manager; now a Director, he runs the company on a day to day basis. Since 2014, the changing nature of our business, and our long term mobile contracts, moved us to a fully mobile service. We have always carried out work for most of the local motor dealers and in recent years have expanded our business to business side of the company with a diverse range of products including handsfree phone kits, fleet management tracking systems, reversing cameras and taxi meters.
